JACK'S SPONSORED MEMORY WALK
Join us for a sponsored memory walk!
This is open to adults and children, however we ask that any children taking part MUST have an accompanying adult with them at all times!
There is no cost to take part in this, but we do ask that you try to help us raise money through sponsorship. You can do this by setting up a just giving link on our JJST just giving page.
You can also order a JJST T-shirt to wear on the day. The cost of these will be £10 each and will need to be ordered by 20th June.
This is not a big ‘organised walk’ like others, more just a gathering of friends going for a walk.
Starting from Jack’s bench in the Manor Barn Gardens, Bexhill-on-sea, we will have 2 distances to choose from- approx 5km and approx 10km.
On return to Jack’s bench, we can all sit and have a picnic together, so be sure to bring a cool box/bag!
(We will have someone staying at Jack’s bench who can watch anyone’s belongings)

The Routes
5 km Route (approx)
Starting at Jack’s bench in The Manor Barn Gardens, we will walk all the way down Sea Road where we will cross over the road to the sea front and walk to the right, along the promenade to the start of South Cliff where we will turn around and walk back to Jack’s bench.
This takes approximately 1 hour.
10 km Route (approx)
This will be the same as the 5km, but those wanting to do the 10km will continue from South Cliff (usually along the beach) on to the Cooden Beach Hotel where we will turn around and walk back to Jack’s bench.
This takes approximately 2 hours.
