We have recently had this amazing space created in our home town of Bexhill. As soon as we saw it, we thought it would be a wonderful thing to potentially be able to offer to children with cancer or other life threatening/limiting conditions and their families. 

Having been though what we have with Jack, we know first hand how it can affect you as an individual and a family. It has a huge impact on your mental health, you feel isolated- perhaps from being on your own stuck in a hospital for weeks/months at a time, or feeling isolated because you don’t know anyone else going through it, the distress it can can cause and the hardship can be so difficult, and sadly for us- loss. 

So, with all this in mind, we applied to 'The Town Hut' and we were accepted! This means that we can now book slots for our families to spend a day or an afternoon at the seaside, allowing them to take time as a family to relax and make memories and focus on their mental health 

We will cover parking for 1 car for the duration of your visit, and will leave you a small hamper with some fun things for the children, as well as a small tab to be used at The Old Bathing Station situated very close to the beach hut.
